Summers at Camp Firwood are awesome, but there's a lot that goes into them, and there's a dedicated team of people that work hard in the Off Season to make it happen!
Bizaardvark - Media Intern
Bizaardvark joined the Firwood team as our Media lead last summer. After Summer was over he joined Firwood staff as our Media Intern and has been KILLING it! Check out our social media platforms to see what he's been cooking up!
Chillionare - Senior Leadership Team
Chillionare was a CIT in 2018, and joined Firwood's Senior Leadership Team (SLT) for 2023 and 2024. He's back for another Summer, ready to serve the Lord and BURN IT UP at Entertainment Tonight. He's done an especially great job working with the Firs and ShireBuilt to get our new Mountain Biking program up and running!
Gonzo - Camp Director
Yes, he's still here! Gonzo has been pouring his blood, sweat, and tears into Camp Firwood in some way, shape, or form since the 90s! After accepting the Lord's call to become Camp Director in 2023, he has been beyond stoked to lead a team of young people each summer that want to Pour Out and Find Purpose! Stay Shreddy!
Miss Frizzle - CAmp Admin
Without Miss Frizzle we'd all be lost. Since joining our staff in 2022, the Frizz has been making sure all the behind-the-scenes work gets done. From managing camper registrations to managing the budget, she does it all!
Sharpay - Assistant Director
Sharpay's Firwood journey started with a CIT summer in 2018, and after returning as one of the Pastoral Care Leads and an EMT last Summer, he joined our staff as the Assistant Director! When he's not sleeping on the job at the Firwood office, he's teaching classes at the Radicle and Rooted discipleship program!
