Time to Choose a Summer Camp: How to know what camp is right for Your Kid

Ready — Or Still Deciding?

If you’ve landed here, you’re probably trying to figure out which summer camp is good for your kid.

And there are a ton of options. We get it.

Choosing how your child spends their summer matters. And your caution shows how much you love your kid. We respect that.

We have a ton of resources on why Firwood is a great choice for your family, no matter what age they are — High School, Middle School, or Elementary.

Questions Parents Ask Before Choosing Camp

No matter where you are in the process, here are three simple next steps.

  1. If you’re ready, register your camper: Secure your camper’s spot and choose the week that works best for your family. June sessions are approaching, and some weeks are already filling.

  2. If you still have questions, ask them: Call our office. Use our 24/7 camp info line. Chat with us on the website. Send an email. If you’d prefer a callback, fill out this form and someone from our team will reach out. No question is too small — safety, homesickness, faith, or logistics.

  3. If cost is part of your hesitation, let us know: We never want finances alone to determine whether your kid can attend camp.

When Should You Register for Summer Camp

We would love the opportunity to welcome your camper this year and see the kind of growth we’ve watched happen for over 70 years. So register them today.

And no matter what you decide, thanks for taking the time to consider Camp Firwood.

We hope to see your family here in Bellingham this summer.
